Fashion Designer Corey Lynn Calter Creates "Krysten" Dress for Charity

As if Los Angeles-based fashion designer Corey Lynn Calter wasn’t making her mark already in the fashion scene with her highly covetable collection of feminine dresses, skirts and separates, now she’s doing good for the community too.

The designer recently partnered with spunky actress Krysten Ritter to produce a flirty, yet playful, party dress with 100 percent of the proceeds being donated to Dare to Share, an organization focused on helping special needs of children around the world.

Retailing at an accessible price of $196, the philanthropic piece features a black and white stripe jersey halter and silk flounce skirt. Ritter wore the design at a celebratory luncheon held at the Chateau Marmont this week to officially introduce the collaboration.

Girly guests including Sophia Bush, Kate Mara, Rachael Leigh Cook and Sara Rue cheerfully turned out for the event, clad in (what else?) Corey Lynn Calter from head-to-toe.

The "Krysten" dress is available online at coreylynncalter.com.

Heidi Klum: the model mother of four flaunts her rock hard abs in tiny bikini

After giving birth to four children in the past seven years, you would forgive Heidi Klum for letting herself go a bit.
But the German supermodel is defying all odds and looked better than ever while wearing a bikini this weekend.
Heidi, 37, was in Palm Beach, Florida to renew her vows with husband Seal at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club.

Bikini time! Heidi Klum, who renewed her vows to husband Seal on Saturday, spends Mother's Day on the beach with her family in Florida

They had a joyous celebration of their sixth wedding anniversary on Saturday but yesterday the whole family took to the beach for some rest and relaxation as they celebrated Mother's Day.

She first donned a strapless floral bikini top with black bottoms which showed that her catwalk legs could still perfectly strut down a runway at a moment's notice.
Heidi frolicked on the beach with her children - Leni, seven, Henry, five, Johan, four and 19-month-old Lou.

Quick change: Heidi was spotted swapping one bikini for another during her stay in Florida

Emma Watson: shows why she was named world's best dressed woman

She was named the world's best-dressed woman earlier this month, and it's not hard to see why.
Emma Watson showed exactly why she beat stars including Cheryl Cole and Kate Moss to the top of Glamour magazine's survey as she stepped out in Paris yesterday showing off her enviable figure in a frilly minidress.
The 21-year-old actress looked stunning in the monochrome dress, which she teamed with slicked back hair and a pair of sky-high heels while leaving the Ritz Hotel in Paris.

Fashionista: Emma showed off her enviable figure in the flirty outfit, which she teamed with on-trend slicked back hair

Emma has worked hard to transform herself from innocent young actress into a world-famous fashionista, but her status was secured earlier this year when she won a job with cosmetics house
Lancôme.
And while it had been unknown which part of the brand Emma would be working with, it was confirmed together the former Harry Potter star will be the face of the new Trésor Midnight Rose fragrance for women.
In a statement released by Lancôme, Emma said: 'Being a Lancôme ambassadress today is an immense pleasure and a great honour.
'For me, Lancôme is an authentic brand. It reflects elegance, class and style.'

Who's your friend? Emma shared a joke with one of the hotel staff as she headed out for the evening

Lancôme International president Youcef Nabi added: 'Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation.
'We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme.'
Emma was seen earlier this year shooting the new Lancôme campaign with Mario Testino in Paris.
And landing the Lancôme job was the latest in a long line of prestigious accolades for the young star.
In February, she was handed the Elle Style Icon award by Vivienne Westwood, who admitted to having no idea who the actress was.
Watson also launched an eco-friendly collection with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti, a line called Pure Threads by Emma Watson.

In an exclusive photoshoot for the Southscope magazine, several young actors and actresses decided to indulge in summer fashion and shot in casuals and chic dresses. The lover boy Naga Chaitanya looked cool in the shorts and stole, and it was an unruffled white shirt and specs for Ram Charan Teja, giving him a smart techie look.

For most of them, being comfortable is the first priority. That ensured, one can always play with the style sense. So, don’t fuss and stay calm.

Check out Priyamani, Tamanna, Richa Gangopadhyay and many other chic celebs with their summer style tips.

Fashion make it debut in Multan

It -was fashion galore in southern Punjab as students of a private university dazzled audiences with a glamorous fashion show that brought together designers from all parts -of the country.
The show, which was titled- Behind the Seams, was the first of its kind in the history of southern Punjab and consisted of a display of international cultures.
“There were lots of different themes presented. Today we can see the scope of fashion designing and modelling in Multan,” said one of the teachers, Ali Imran.

Amidst the conservative environment of southern Punjab, creativity, hilarity and some- serious project management skills went hand in hand as student teams took on the task of- creating their own fashion labels. Each team used the wealth of resources at hand to create, design and then manufacture catwalk worthy creations. They scripted, choreographed and -staged their own fashion show, complete with music, commentary and their own hand-picked catwalk models.

Nouman, a student and fashion designer, said:  “My collection was based on the safari theme. I have used palm leaves and tiger and zebra skins.”
The show included themed dance performances. About 60 models performed on more than 12 themes which- included humming birds, Egyptian, Turkish and Chinese cultures, the subcontinent, Sufism, Kailash, safari, Umrao Jaan Ada, the sea, Arabian nights etc. They were greatly appreciated by the guests, many of whom were experiencing an -event of this nature for the first time in Multan.
Zubariya, another of the fashion designer who participated, said: “I toiled on my Arabian night’s themed collection for a long time. I came from Bahawalpur, and am delighted to present my collection here. The people of Multan appreciated me very much.”
Local models were more than delighted by the response from the public. This was the first time when performers and models in a public event included girls.
“I performed on the safari theme. My designer was Nouman Peerzada. It was a blast, I really- enjoyed doing it. I hope others liked it too,” said Zargia Khan, one of the models.
The students proved their mettle in successfully scripting and choreographing the catwalk as well as designing the fashion- creations. This event marks a new era in fashion in southern Punjab, following the efforts of students who have tried -to bring about a change in the perception of fashion in the region as well as to bring a change in its -orthodox -values.
