Ayumi Hamasaki is in trouble with the Police!
Organizers of a street event featuring Japanese pop superstar Ayumi Hamasaki have come under suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Law by holding the event without a license, it has emerged.
The Metropolitan Police Department searched the offices of Hamasaki’s management agency Avex Entertainment and several other locations in connection with an investigation Wednesday. Police are planning to send documents on involved parties to public prosecutors, accusing them of violating the law.
According to police, Hamasaki held an event at 109 Square in front of the 109 department store in Tokyo’s Shibuya district at around 3 p.m. April 7. The event, held to promote a new book about the star, was an unannounced “surprise event,†and the square was soon flooded with some 8,000 onlookers. The crowd overflowed the boundaries of the square with some ending up on the surrounding streets, causing traffic mayhem at the major junction.

Ayesha Takia - Actress, like rest of Bollywood, in no mood to celebrate
There is complete gloom in Bollywood these days. Parties and celebrations are the hated words. No one is in the mood to party and it seems the year 2008 will end on a sad note.Like many others, the terrorist attack has devastated Ayesha Takia (pictured left) too, who was shooting in Greece for Boney Kapoor's film “Wanted: Dead And Aliveâ€. She has decided to postpone her wedding.

This is my first post here. Since I don’t think I’m too good at reviewing albums and songs individually, I’ll be reviewing my favorite J-pop artists by the person. Today, I’m reviewing Ayumi Hamasaki.
Who Is She? A hugely famous J-pop singer in Japan, called the “Empress of Pop.â€
Why I like her…as a person: She’s hard working without being too much of a diva. After becoming deaf in one ear, she continued her career without hesitation. She’s a trendsetter, writes her own songs and controls her own image, and is confident with who she is.
Why I like her…as a singer: Ayumi isn’t afraid to take risks. She’s covered many different genres, and many of her songs were like nothing I’d ever heard before. Her lyrics and vocals are full of emotion and are at times very touching. She makes use of her vibrato along with her high, sometimes squeaky vocals, which is something to get used to, but unique nonetheless. The first time I listened to her, I didn’t like her honestly…but later on, I thought, “this music is really different.†And that’s what I’d say about Ayumi Hamasaki. She’s different.

American actor Swayze died of pancreatic cancer in September 2009
A bad news!!! for all American actor Swayze died of pancreatic cancer, his publicist, Annett Wolf, told CNN.
Patrick Swayze, whose hunky good looks and sympathetic performances in such films as "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" made him a romantic idol to millions, died Monday. He was 57 years old.
Patrick Swayze's doctor said in March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," Wolf said in a statement Monday.
Swayze's doctor, Dr. George Fisher, revealed in early March 2008 that Swayze was fighting the disease.
Most recently, Swayze starred in A&E network's "The Beast," which debuted in January. He agreed to take the starring role of an undercover FBI agent before his diagnosis. The network agreed to shoot an entire season of the show after Swayze responded well to cancer treatment.
In an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters in January, Swayze said his work on that show was exhausting, requiring 12-hour workdays in Chicago, Illinois, doing his own stunts. But he said the show's character "just felt right for my soul."
"If I leave this Earth, I want to leave this Earth just knowing I've tried to give something back and tried to do something worthwhile with myself," Swayze told Walters, when asked why he decided to do the show. "And that keeps me going, that gets me up in the morning. My work ... is my legacy."
"The Beast" was canceled in June because of Swayze's illness, after doctors told him the cancer had spread to his liver.
Swayze was mostly known for a handful of supporting roles when he broke through with his performance as dance instructor Johnny Castle in 1987's "Dirty Dancing."
