The annual edition of the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar from flamboyant liquor baron, airline owner and F1 team owner Vijay Mallya is one of the most glamorous end-of-year publishing events in India.
The Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone who appeared in the 2006 Calendar edition, unveils the 2010 calendar on Sunday (12/20/2009).

Hindustan Times asked Deepika that featuring in the calendar was a good platform to enter Bollywood, Then Deepika Padukone replied "Well, I didn't use it as a platform to enter the film industry, so I wouldn't say that. You can't be a model to be an actor. That's not what I did. But yes, Farah noticed me as a model and then decided to cast me in "Om Shanti Om".

Asin trying to push her limits

Asin may be relatively new in Bollywood, but the actress knows to be diplomatic while answering any question thrown at her. When asked about the competition that she is facing in the industry, the actress says, “I want to concentrate on myself. It’s better to be that way than lose focus. I am trying to push my own limits.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that some interesting roles come my way.” The actress also admits that she loves the song-anddance routine. “I don’t look down on running around trees. I love the romance bit completely. A movie has to have a perfect mix to be liked by the audience,” she adds.

Sridevi comes back a Hansika’s mother

Hansika Motwani is making her debut in Tamil cinema opposite Rajinikanth’s son in law Dhanush in Mappillai, which is a remake of Rajinikanth’s film.

She is no stranger to south as she has done four films Desamudru, Kantri, Maska and Billa in Telugu and a Kannada film Bindaas. Now the latest buzz is tat Sridevi has been roped in to play an important role in this film. The sources said tat she may play mother to Hansika in this film.

Namitha is a heroine who surely knows her mind. We have seen heroines say no to lip-locks and swim wears, but Namitha is not that types. She would be more than happy to wear swim suits for a film. The actress has recently said NO to wear a traditional outfit for a Tamil film.
